Note:
This is the first year for Huntsville’s Homeschool Prom. We have a great committee of parents and teens from several cover schools who have volunteered their time and talents to make the Prom a reality. We started in September 2009 and were strangers to each other. The Committee members have already put in a lot of time with much more donated time to come in the next several weeks. In addition to Grace United Methodist Church, our vendors are providing free or discounted services to help make this Prom a possibility. Our plan is to have this become an annual event –a Huntsville tradition—to allow many students in future years to enjoy the memories of a high school prom. All funds received by Huntsville’s Homeschool Prom are held in a savings account at a local bank. No one will be receiving any profits from the event. Any monies remaining after this year’s prom will be held for expenses for the 2011 Prom. Our goal is to make the Prom as accessible to as many students as possible by keeping ticket prices low ---and as magical as we can make it.
