Gods' World/Shakespeare/Govt Club (CLC)

God's World Subscriptions:
It's about that time again. God's World Subscriptions run
September through May. Single subscriptions start at $22
for the younger levels, and $26 for World Magazine. We get
quite a savings if we order them together, to be mailed to
the same address. I am happy to do that, if there is
enough interest.
The levels for the various newsltters are as follows:
Pre-K -- 1st
2nd -- 3rd
4th -- 5th
6th -- 9th
If we have 2 or more subscriptions for the same level, the
prices drop to $15 each, and for 7 or more of the same
level, they drop to $8.25 each.
World Magazine is recommended for the high school ages (and
parents!). With 2 to 4 subsriptions, the price drops to
$20 (for 26 issues), and with 5 or more subsriptions, the
price drops to $15 for each.
All the subsriptions would come to the store, and families
would need to pick them up every week or two.
I'll need a count by the end of August, to see if we have

with the levels you would like to receive.
Shakespeare
We will be reading Taming of the Shrew the next 2 weeks
(Tuesdays 1:00 - 2:30), if anyone else is interested in
joining us for that. Cost is $10, and includes 2 classes
and a copy of the book. (Please let me know by Monday, if
you are interested.)
We also have a few slots left in our on-going Shakespeare
class, which begins again mid-September. We will be
reading many of the classic plays in that class.
Govt Club
Many of you know that I am also the advisor for the WHCS
Govt Club. The club is open to any homeschoolers in junior
high and high school. We will be having a "Beginning of
the Year" Open House on August 28th, from 1:00 - 4:00, at
Kingdom Life Fellowship on Governor's West (right off 565).
If you have a junior high or high school student, and
would like more information on the Club, on Mock Trial,
and/or Youth Legislature, please come to the meeting.
