This spring, in addition to our ongoing classes, we have a new tutoring option available:
Leila Dodson - Tutor:
Offering tutoring in high school level Math. Covering basic Algebra (solving unknowns, powers, factoring, quadratic equations, simultaneous linear equations and more).
Also offering classes in French. Learn to speak and write from a native speaker!
Price: negotiable

Leila may also be offering some high school science next fall -- we'll post information on that as soon as it is available.
CurrClick
I mentioned in the last newsletter that we had uploaded 20 of our products to the CurrClick website…Well, that number has jumped to 70, including a few items that aren’t available anywhere else yet (including a Leonardo da Vinci Student Book, a Planets Unit Study, and a Simple Record Keeping pack). And our free items there are up to 5! The easiest way to find our things is to click through from the www.CreativeLearningConnection.com home page.
Used Books:
Our first Used Book Sale of the season is coming up on Tuesday, March 9. Set up is between 6 and 6:30, and the official selling time is from 7 to 9 p.m. Please share this information with other homeschoolers, parents, and teachers you know – since with these sales, it is definitely a case of “the more the merrier”. Please contact us at cmmjaime@alum.mit.edu or 256-325-3305 if you would like to reserve a table. There is no cost to participate, you will be manning your own table, and making your own sales.
We take used books, games, and other educational materials on consignment year-round (on Thursdays, or by appointment).
Moms’ Meeting
We also have a Moms’ Meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening, March 30. Catherine Jaime will be speaking on “Multi-level Teaching” (or “How to keep your sanity while homeschooling many children.”) As a 28-year homeschooling veteran, and the mother of 12 children, she has plenty of experience in this area! Spring Hours:
Don’t forget, our new hours: We are open Tuesdays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will also be open one Friday and Saturday each month from 12 – 5 p.m. (in March that will be Friday, March 5th and Saturday, March 6th).
