April/May Happenings at CLC
Reminder of 2 April events still ahead:

Help us spread the word about CLC. Bring someone new with you to CLC in April, and you will both receive 20% off your purchases.

We will be continuing the Bring a Friend Discount into May – but the % will change to 15% in May.

Used Book Sales
Our next Used Book Sales: Monday, April 27 and Thursday, May 28 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm
People bringing books may arrive between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. to start setting up their table and books.
There is no charge to participate. Leaving unsold books afterwards on consignment is an option, but not a requirement.
If you plan to leave books on Consignment, please see the new Consignment polices on the website.
You will be collecting your own $ for books sold that day – so you may want to bring sufficient change, small bills, etc.

Student Class at CLC – the Titanic

Cost: $12 for first student in a family (includes “Pre-Owned” Copy of Titanic Book to take home, Class, and lunch – 1 slice pizza and drink). Additional family members are $9 each (includes class and lunch.)

Come out and join us for our “monthly” family event. We’ll order pizzas (works out to $1/slice). Please bring drinks/snack/dessert to go with it.

Two Day Home Educators’ Seminar
with Catherine Jaime

Friday, May 29th from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, May 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The workshop is geared towards newer homeschoolers, and any homeschooler who needs a boost!
On Friday Catherine will focus on Teaching Teens – dealing with
credits, transcripts,high school classes, Shakespeare, college entrance and much more.
On Saturday, Catherine will cover everything from getting started homeschooling, to making and using lapbooks and unit studies, teaching with games, and much more.
The cost for just Friday is $15. The price includes 4 of Catherine’s booklets: Teaching Teens, Understanding the Electoral College, Mock Trial, and Sharing Shakespeare, and a $10 gift certificate for Creative Learning Connection.(Friday’s cost includes one or more members of a family.)
The cost for just Saturday is $25. The price includes a boxed lunch (sandwich, drink, etc.),
a copy of Catherine’s book Organized Ramblings,and a $15 gift certificate for Creative Learning Connection. Additional family members coming Saturday are only $5 each – to cover the cost of lunch.
The cost for both days is $35, which includes lunch on Saturday, a $20 gift certificate, Organized Ramblings, Understanding the Electoral College and the Mock Trial booklet (Teaching Teens and Sharing Shakespeare are included in Organized Ramblings).
