Used Book Sales
Thursday, May 6th, from 6:30 – 8:30 P.M. Please call or
email to sign up for a space. No charge to buy or sell.
Each family will take care of their own sales, and their
own money. (There will also be a tailgate sale at Cathy’s
home on Friday morning, June 11th – email for more
details.) We also take used books on consignment, and
currently have 100’s to chose from. Stop by and see us
before you start ordering next year’s materials!
Half Price Scholastic Book Fair

Moms’ Meeting
“How to do a Unit-Study based, or Relaxed Home School”
Thursday, May 27th at 6:30 P.M. Cathy Jaime will share
from her 22-years of experience on how to relax, and how to
“do” unit studies.
Summer Seminar for Parents
“Help, I’m Homeschooling – Now What? Encouragement for
“New” and “Old” Homeschoolers
Saturday, June 26th from 9:30 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. This one
day workshop for parents will cover: Understanding
Philosophies of Education; Choosing “Curriculum”; Relaxing
at home; Putting together Unit Studies; Ideas for doing
Unit Studies; Enjoy Your High Schoolers, not just surviving
them!, and more. There is a $20 fee for this seminar --
for either one or both parents. Each family attending will
also receive a copy of Cathy's book on home
schooling,Organized Ramblings: Home Education from A to Z.
(If you already have that book, don't worry -- you may
choose $18 worth of other CLC-produced materials instead.)
