CHRISTmas Greetings from Creative Learning Connect
December 6, 2007
CHRISTmas Greetings from Creative Learning Connection Need Gift Ideas? Don’t want to give them another silly toy? Recently, I read an article that encouraged families to start a new tradition of game night during the CHRISTmas Holidays. It never occurred to me that families didn’t do that. Sitting around the dining room table with a board game, or several decks of cards, that is an old tradition for our families. So are you ready for a new tradition? We have what you need! When you think of shopping at CLC you probably think of used curriculum and books, but did you know that we also have a wide selection of puzzles and games? Family game night is a great way to get everyone in the same room at the same time. We have games from Out of the Box such as Apples to Apples, Gold Digger, Qwitch, My Word, and Blink. We also have several versions of the 10 Days games. One of our newest additions is called Thurn and Taxis. This is a great game of making connections and strategy for older players. We have games aimed as all age groups. And if you want to be sneaky and give them an educational game, we have lots of those, too. What about puzzles? This is another long time tradition for our family. We have puzzles from Sun’s Out, White Mountain Puzzle Company, Great American Puzzle Company, and Ravensburger. Some of those show world flags, presidents, people of the Revolutionary War...We also have puzzles with insects, horses, African animals, sea creatures and much, much more! We also have some neat books on CHRISTmas traditions. And of course, we still have a great selection of used and new books, for all ages, from the littlest ones to adults. Can’t decide what to get? We have gift card options as well. Come by and check out us for all your CHRISTmas gift needs. Our December hours: We will be open 12 – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, December 3rd – 8th; and Monday through Thursday, December 10 – 13th and 17th – 20th. After that we will close to enjoy the CHRISTmas and New Year’s Holidays with our families. Cathy and Dee (questions, contact Cathy at cmmjaime@alum.mit.edu)
