Silent Auction Update (at CLC)
October 9, 2007
Our Government Club is preparing to send 20 students to a
Mock Trial Competition in Montgomery. We are holding a
Silent Auction at Creative Learning Connection in Madison
to raise money for the trip. You may stop by today and
tomorrow (Monday, October 8th and Tuesday October 9th)
between 10 and 5 to place your bids.
Some wonderful items have been donated by local businesses
to help us out: We have gift cards for free pizzas
(Doantos and Papa Johns), for free hair styling (at Salon
3-13), for free lessons at the Pilate place near us (Head
to Toe Training). We even have 2 free tickets to Ovation
Arts upcoming show, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (which
stars at least 2 homeschool students!). Creative Learning
Connection also donated a one-year membership (valued at
$100) – which gets you laminating at ½ price, a number of
classes at ½ price – and unlimited access to the thousands
of items in their lending library.
We also have gift baskets, games (including Apples to
Apples), books (including Leonardo da Vinci), and more…
