More great news for January and February at Creative
Learning Connection: We have added a couple more exciting
events to our calander for January and February.

First, Cindy Rushton will be joining us on Thursday
evening, January 29th for a workshop on making your own
books. I'm sure it will be encouraging for all of us! The
official "fellowship time" begins at 6:30 P.M., and Cindy
will begin talking at 7:00 P.M. Please let us know if you
are planning to join us -- so we can plan accordingly for
chairs and snacks!

The Pearl Harbor workshop has been moved to January 30,
from 3:00 - 4:30 P.M This 1 1/2 hour workshop is aimed at
students 7 and up and will cost $8.

Then in February, on Friday the 6th, at 3:00 P.M. we will
have the honor of hosting a local World War II vet. He
will share with the students some of his experiences and
memories from the War. There will be no charge for this
event, though he will have copies of his book available for
those who would like to purchase those. Again, please let
us know if you are planning to join us -- so we can plan
accordingly.

February's student workshops will also include a workshop
on Lewis and Clark on February 13th from 1:30 - 3:30. With
the 200th anniversary of their historic journey coming up,
this will probably be the first of several workshops on
this topic. On Friday, February 20th we will be offering
Origami from 3:00 - 4:30, and then on February 27th we will
be having the first of many Election Workshops.

Contact Cathy at cmmjaime@alum.mit.edu or call 325-3305 if
you would like more information on any of these, or to sign
up.
