January News at Creative Learning Connection:

We are making great progress with the move. By the end of
this week, we may have the retail section completely moved
in upstairs! Thank you to all that have shopped since we
re-opened last week, and been patient with the transition.

In addition to being more settled next week, we have a
couple of other exciting things happening.

Our Government Club Silent Auction runs from next Monday,
the 22nd, through Saturday the 27th.

In addition to our regular hours next week, we will be open
Friday 12 – 5, and Saturday 10 – 5 for the Open House. The
Open House will include 3 workshops: 11-12 with Christie
Berry; 1:30 – 2:30 with Lisa Clark and 3:30 – 4:30 with
Cindy Rushton. Please plan to join us sometime during the
week to see the new place and the goodies in the Silent
Auction, and/or Saturday for the Open House.

In addition to our other classes, we also have one new
class starting next week:

Comparative Literature for High Schoolers

Mondays 1 to 3 p.m. Starts next Monday, 22 January
Teacher: Paul Drude (college student, former student of
mine)

Students will read and discuss, and write about a number of
classics including: Utopia, Brave New World, 1984, and a
few other similar titles.

Cost: $20/month.

Looking forward to seeing many of you soon!
