The biggest difference between the 1st and 2nd edition of this book is the pictures.  This edition doesn't have pictures,and is a MUCH smaller file.  If you don't have the ability to download larger files, or are planning to print the book, and don't want to use as much ink printing it -- this would be the version for you.
