Each of the Unit Studies below were developed as they were being taught, to my own kids, and to the other students who took classes with us (in coop, for the semester, for the year...)
We did History of Astronomy during 2 8-week sessions, and the Civil War, States, and Presidents each took us an entire school year. (You should set your own schedule for what works best for you!)
Each Unit Study contains much or all of the following: Recommended resources; a game; coloring pages; crossword puzzles; word searches; and more (as listed in the specific Unit Study description).
The above Unit Studies are the only ones I've had a chance to "package" as Unit Studies. But we've also done Unit Studies on Jamestown, Leonardo da Vinci, Civil Rights, and many more. The games we've created, or the books that I've written on those topics, can easily be used as the basis of your Unit Study.
